May 31, 2020 · Here's a review of the Wilkinson m Series humbucker and strat picjups. If you can't justify a pickup upgrade more expensive than your guitar, check out the Wilkinson m Series. The HSS pickup set on Makoy's strat is only ₱1,960 (₱1090 for the covered bridge pickup (700 if uncovered) and ₱490 each for mid and neck).
Wilkinson Pickups anyone? I have them in my Glarry. They are ok but a bit noisey. That's interesting. Perhaps your guitar is not shielded correctly? What type of Wilkinson pickups are in your guitar? Single coil or humbucker? It's the 199s. The ones that are $30 on Amazon.

Are Wilkinson Humbucker Pickups Any Good? It is a good idea to recommend them. This guitar has a fairly good tone, but it can be thin, and not much difference in sound between better neck and bridge-coil splitting guitars. It's a steal.
Wilkinson Pickups - Are they any good? Has anybody installed/used/tried these pickups? In particular, the humbuckers. The set I'm looking at are 7.4Kohm (neck) and 13.8Kohm (bridge) with metal covers (Gibson LP style). I did a google for reviews but didn't have much luck.
Hey, Bought a set of Wilkinson vintage Stratocaster pickups years ago (maybe 2) and complete a squier project. They sounded good but I dismissed them and moved on to next project. I noticed, in terms of tone, I find ceramics not bad for at home on your own playing. Sound like they have slightly scooped mids, quite bright.
From my experience, Wilkinson pickups are definitely an upgrade for cheap Squier S-type pickups. I have not compared them to US Fenders. But I think if you want to upgrade from US Fenders you probably should be looking for some higher priced stuff like Seymour Duncan Antiquity.
It's a good in inexpensive pickup, yes. Check out dragonfire pickups also. They're a good inexpensive clone pickup also. I feel that they're a little better quality than Wilkinson.
